Oh no... I just finish my work, and I just can do this short update.
Yes!!! Oh yes!!! (eh... not kena lottery la), my blog finally step into the 1st year anniversary. Time really flies and I look back what I've done in this past year, this blog really have macam-macam entries. Unlike other blogs only post their own genre, when I look back, my blog really a crap... hahaha, aiyah... who cares la, I just blog for fun anyway.
I really no idea how I get into blogsphere, in the beginning I really no idea what is blog until my friends intro me, then I browse on many blogs and I still don't get it. After that I just saja simply post up my 1st ever post, that was 'For 70's Babies'. After that I never care about it until one day I saw my 1st ever comment from Nonnie King, I was really surprised got someone commented in my post!
Since that, I keep writing and writing... until one time I decided to change my blog more to classic rock music and craps. Then I met up lots of bloggers through some mini gathering until to grand gathering (Together-gather Bloggers Party 2007), and I was one of the committee for the party, I'm so proud to myself (self praise... dunno paiseh one)... haha.
Anyway, my blog is not famous as many celebrities blogger, and also not so interesting like others, I prefer to be like this. I can see lots of bloggers try to change their route, but I still stick to my own ways, I just want to be myself.
Alright... I really don't what to write anymore, time for me to sleep, I still need to work after few hours later.
Lastly, I would like to thank you all support me all the time, without you all my blog won't survive anymore, you all are my heroes, my idols, my friends... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Today not only my blog's 1st anniversary, but also my car's 2nd anniversary, and also another good news, I got confirmation as Technical Engineer in my working company now... hurayyy~~!!!
Happy 1st Anniversary Crap & Rock!!!

So Close Yet So Far
Bad news for all, this weekend no Band Of The Week because lifelogger is down for maintenance this weekend, so I can't upload some songs for the band introduction, very sorry to all.
********************************************
Yesterday evening while I still working in office, my housemate suddenly called me and told me that my picture was on The Star newspaper's thumbnails section, so I thought I won the RM50 for that picture, then I asked him am I got the prize? He replied me no... I was like... ok la, not a big deal, just for fun only. You can see the detail here.
The picture was taken on last week at Sunway Piramid, I spotted a tower crane was lifting a mobile crane from top of a construction site, I was thinking, that's really dangerous move, if accident happens, I dare not imagine how bad it is, furthermore the place is so crowded with people.
This is my original picture...
Too bad my camera phone's picture quality is not that good, if not will be much better.
This is the screenshot from The Star's website. Sorry I didn't buy any paper, so I don't have the cutting from the newspaper. If you are so kind, can you please cut it down for me? It's on 28 Jun 2007, The Star newspaper at thumbnails section. Thank you very much in advance.
Argghh... I'm so close to win RM50, if not I sure will belanja you a cup of teh tarik la. Never mind... will try again.

Sleeping Facts
Do you ever think that we were wasting so many years on sleeping? Sometimes I really wonder, why we human must sleep instead of a short break or rest? Don't tell me because of god created us to be like that, if it is why god want us to wasting so much time?
Now days I don't really enjoy to sleep, I felt it really wasting of time, furthermore I almost got nightmare every night during my sleep, I don't know why... Is that a bad sign?
If human no need to sleep, I think we don't have any excuses of no time for this and no time for that. Well, it just my thinking, sometimes without sleep for 24 hours to 48 hours, I still will say that not enough time.
Here is my simple and average calculation for how long we've been sleep in this entire life...
A baby will sleep more than 12 hours a day
A kid will sleep from 8 to 10 hours
A normal teenager will sleep about 8 hours
An adult will sleep 5 t0 7 hours
An old people will sleep 4 to 6 hours or maybe less (Hell... I'm in this category)
Let's say 1 year got 365 days
I'm 30 years old now
Let's say I sleep 7 hours a day
Calculation:
365 x 30 = 10950 days
10950 x (7/24) = 3193.75 days
3193.75/365 = 8.75 years
Oh no... I've been wasting almost 9 years time for sleeping only!!!
Alright... I think it's time for me to waste time and continue my nightmare now...

I'm So Tired...
I'm really so tired recently, not only tired because of work, but also tired with my internet connection. I'm in a cyber cafe again to write this post.
Past few days TM called me and informed me that the place I stay got no TM service, so I can't subscribe Streamyx.
I really pissed with eB service since they merged with REDtone, their service is getting bad to worst. I almost have to call the center everyday to report my internet connection is down. Yesterday I tried to called whole day and no body answer the phone, today I tried for almost 3 hours only they picked up my call and told me will solve it as soon as possible. When I reached home I tried to login, it was ok but the speed damn hell slow, after 2 hours the line was down until now, I can't browse any webpage at all!
PLEASE DON'T TELL ME AGAIN THAT STREAMYX IS THE WORST, I'VE BEEN USING STREAMYX BEFORE AND I KNOW WHICH ONE IS BETTER! I'M DAMN TIRED TO HEAR THAT AGAIN!
My message to eB

My message to eBI'm really exhausted, recently I always have to work till late night, weekend also need to work. I thought after I quit government job and join private sector will get a better salary, I was wrong! I was in wrong timing again! After the salary increament for government servant, their salary is higher than what I get now with the same position, and now I have to work more than them so many times!
I'm really tired to think about it, why I always in wrong timing? I'm now really tired with my life, I'm tired to blog as well, I'm so tired until I can......

I'm not that good in car's knowledge, but I got something to share with you that what car is the most fastest car in the world.
I think most of you will think that sport cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti and others sports racing car are the most fastest car in the world. My answer is NO.
Ferrari Sports Racing Cars
I think most of you will think that sport cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti and others sports racing car are the most fastest car in the world. My answer is NO.
Ferrari Sports Racing CarsIf is not sports racing car then what type of car will the most fastest? Maybe some of you will say Formula 1 cars are the most fastest street racing car. Well, my answer is NO again.
Formula One
Formula OneIf is not Formula 1 car, then what type of car again to be the most fastest? At the beginning I thought drag racing cars are the most powerful and fastest in the world. I was wrong, the answer is NO!!!
Drag Racing Car
Drag Racing CarUntil one day I received an email shows that the most fastest car in this world. I was stunt to see the picture and I can't believe it just a normal old car modified to 'look as' a most fastest car in the world. I'm really proud to be a Malaysian that our people is so great to modify an old car to be the world most fastest car, I think if Michael Schumacher see this car, he'll step away and surrender.
So, wonder what car is it? Just scroll down and see, I don't bluff you one...

Suspected Flood Again
I suspect KL is flooding again now. It's very unusual heavy rain so bad now. The rain is quite similar as the previous flood event past 2 weeks ago. I can't really see the road while I driving and I saw trees falling down on roads.
When I reached home, I saw my kitchen was messed up like after tsunami, I can't imagine how bad was the storm.

eB Really Sucks!!!
I'm using my hp to blog this post, eB really disappointed me again and again. My connection here is getting worst than ever, one day up two days down, sometimes can up to 5 days down. I really fedup with this kind of lousy service. I can't do my work and can't read your all blogs now. I just want to say GO TO HELL eB!!!

Bak Chang
I just noticed today is the Chinese Dumpling Festival (端午节) after one of my colleague mentioned about Bak Chang (Meat Dumpling). This is my 5th consecutive years I missed out the festival with my family.

This festival is not that popular now days, but to me is one of my favorite festival that brought me back lots of memories during my childhood time. I still remember last time when my grandmother still alive and healthy, our family is very particular with this festival.
Before the festival, we all will busy choosing glutinous rice to separate out with normal rice to make sure there were 100% glutinous rice only. Then my grandmother and my mother will busying prepared the recipes. My father, brothers and myself will busying looked for woods from everywhere and light up fire to cook the Bak Chang.
Last time we used to cook few types of Bak Chang during the festival, all my relatives will come and enjoy the Bak Chang together. Since my grandmother passed away, we don't really cook that much anymore because all my relatives celebrate it with their own family.

I love to eat Bak Chang very much, I think I haven't really eat it for years. Now I really got craving on Bak Chang, who willing to make some for me?
Note: All pictures were taken from my email.
Happy 端午节!!!

Why Flash Flood in KL?
This post is related to this entry.
Recently everyone is concern about the flash flood happened in Kuala Lumpur. Over this 2 weeks the weather in Klang Valley was very unusual and flash flood occurred in several places in KL in this 2 weeks.
Many people don't know why it happened and started to blame or point fingers to each other. I'm not surprise to see it, because everytime when anything wrong happened, everyone will started blame on each other. To me, I'll find out what is the main causes to lead on flash flood happened, it's no point for me to blame on others.
Here I just want share with you all my research and study on this situation for the past few years. Let's look at the geographical of Klang Valley, the major rivers are Klang River, Gombak River and Batu River. The other tributaries are Ampang River, Keroh River, Kerayong River, Kuyoh River, Damansara River, Penchala River and others.
We have two dams (Batu Dam and Klang Gates Dam) and few flood retention ponds but it's still not adequate to hold the rain water.
History of Major Floods
There are many major floods happened in Klang Valley since in 1920s. If you observe the frequent of floods, you can see the numbers of flood increasing in recent years.
From my record, the 1971 major flood was the worst ever in the history which happened almost whole Peninsular of Malaysia. It was believe the rainfall was 100 years return period, which is possible happen at least once in 100 years.
Let's look at some major flood pictures...

Causes of Floods

Look at the figure above, the land after development will become like 'water proof', the rain water will have no where to go through into the soil, so this phenomena will increase the surface water run off. If the drainage system are not design properly, the water run off will cause the flash flood happen.

Improper land development also will caused heavy siltation in drainage system, not only that, it also can caused land slide happened.
This is what happened on improper planning of a township, the heavy siltation in rivers will reduce the river capacity. It also destroyed the river ecosystem/diversity, this is why we hardly to see any living things like fish in the city's river.
Constrictions of river also another problem to create river water over flow from river. For example the picture above, the bridge was constructed lower than the flood level. That's why the bridge will block the water flow in the river and the back flow of water will spille out from the river.
Constrictions of structures also will disturbed the water flow during rainy days.
This is the very common situation we can see, illegal squatters and rubbish. I'm really sad that the mentality of Malaysian still treat our rivers as a rubbish dumping ground. I've seen on my own eyes a mamak shop in KL throw their rubbish directly into the river. Imagine if everyone does the same thing, our living place will become very sick.
Our river or drainage system is like artery in our body, once got any blockages, we will in trouble such as heart attack. Now, we are living in a 'heart decease' environment, it will burst anytime without any notice.

So, my conclusion is we have to blame on ourself for without the awareness of keeping our living place healthy. You can still blame on government of never did their job to clean it, but have you ever think that who did it in the first place?
The business mentality here also never concern about the environmental impact, they just never let go any empty land or reserved forest to develop the properties for their big profit only. If they follow all the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessments) studies and some proper guidelines, this will reduce the flash flood happened.
Prevention is Better Than Cure.

Acupuncture Treatment
First of all I would like to thank all of you for understanding my situation, this weekend I'm not gonna blog about Band Of The Week.
Now I got a little time to write and read blogs. Today's journey was so rushing, early morning went to Johor with 2 of my colleagues for a site visit then took a fast lunch and rush back to KL. Luckily we all took turn to drive, if not I think I'm fainted already.
I just came back from my hand's treatment not long ago, my right arm was injured since last week from my badminton game, then on last weekend I went to driving range with Wingz, Golfnick, CKyeo, and others for our golf lesson, that time I got my injury even more serious.
The next day I can't even grab a toothbrush to brush my teeth, I have to use my left hand all the time. I thought it will recover in few days time, but it still the same, so I went to see a treatment center nearby my house. The doctor advice me to take acupuncture treatment instead of massage because it will be more faster and cheaper to cure. The doctor also said I have to continuous to do the treatment 4 to 5 times.
So I decided to take acupuncture treatment, just now was my second treatment and now I'm able to grab anything with more energy. At least I can TFK/PCC now... kekekeke...

Acupuncture TreatmentSorry for my camera phone not so good in a dim condition. Got 6 needles punched on my arm, this is my first time to receive traditional acupuncture treatment. The most amazing thing is I don't feel pain at all when I received the treatment, and the result is so good. Each treatment cost me RM30, to me is ok as long it can cure my hand and I can continue with my badminton and golf games.

Give Me a Short Break
Sorry for no update this few days, I'm really super busy this whole week. On Monday I work till Tuesday 4am, then back to office again few hours later. I still never have a good rest since that, I'm really super-extra-ultimate-unlimited tired now.
Tomorrow I have to go Johor for a site visit early morning and will back to office by evening. I promise will try to update when I got time. To Clare, I'm very sorry that I don't do tag anymore, I hope you can understand it.
Now I have to use my 5 mins from my lunch break to write this. Alright... back to work now.
Give Me a Break Please...

Chaotic Weekend
Hell... I just reached home at 4.00am from my office, in less than 4 hours I have to go back to office work again. My working company is going to tender some projects and today by afternoon is the closing time for the tender. We all work till 3.40am just to compiling the tender documents. I decided stay awake, if I sleep now I won't able to wake up on time.
*******************************************
Is it deja vu? Or it just a coincidence? Back in 4 years ago on the same date (10/6/2003) KL was hits by heavy flash flood. Two days ago (10/6/2007) it happens again. This time the flash flood really made everyone doubtful with the SMART (Stormwater Management And Road Tunnel) tunnel we have now, why it still can't solve the flash flood problem in central of KL?

Let me explain what I know about it, I'm here not on the side of any party, I just pointing out what I know from my research and study on it before.
I was with DID (Department of Irrigation and Drainage) for five years until I left the department two months ago to join a private company which I'm working now. I was involved with the flash flood on 10/6/2003 and I will never forget the date, it was the worst flash flood I ever seen in my life with my own eyes.
Last Sunday I saw the rain was so terrible and I was thinking, this kind of rain sure will cause a serious flash flood, guess what? It really happened! Today during lunch hour I flipped some newspapers and I saw the flash flood in KL was so bad, then I read many parties keep point fingers to DID that the SMART tunnel is a failure. Now I really want to voice up to correct the statements.
For your all information, SMART tunnel is still not fully completed for the water way. It only open for traffic, not for water yet. The water outlet located at Taman Desa pond is still under construction. Not only that, the downstream of Sungai Kerayong at Old Klang Road which is the outlet from the Taman Desa pond is also still under construction. This is why the SMART tunnel is still not fully functioning as a component of flood mitigation.
I also saw the newspaper reported SMART was flood by rain water, when I saw the picture I really laughed off, it wasn't SMART, it's the under pass at Jalan Tun Razak which near to RHB Bank. If they reported outside of SMART was flooded then it really make sense to me. The usual flooded area outside of SMART is at near Sungai Besi air field, the Sungai Kerayong always over flow to the road.
As I did some research and run on modeling software on SMART for my thesis in the past, it only can reduce the flash flood at central of KL especially at Masjid Jamek that area. With the current development, it estimate can hold up to 2 hours of rain fall (100 years return period). Frankly speaking, I felt SMART is a waste of money, no matter how advance you do, you still can't solve the flash flood problems, you only can reduce it.
From geographically, KL is located in a valley called Klang Valley, all the rain water will flow into the catchment. Secondly, improper development, squatters poor drainage design and rubbish are also are the components which caused flash flood. So, who you think should to blame on it?
At Jalan Sultan Ismail

So far the result from my modeling simulation, it's quite work, but in reality I don't think it works exactly the same result as I got.

To My Dearest Dad
You were born in a big family as an elder son in a difficult situation, you willing to sacrifice your studies in primary school and went to work to support the family.
You always give the best to me and my other two brothers, as a leader of the family you always work so hard to make sure we have a better life. Although you are not rich in financial but you are very rich in your own principle of life. You are so loyal to your wife (my mom) and so taking care of us.
We seldom have conversation when I was a kid. You sacrificed all your time on work just to earn some extra income to support the family, but I know, your heart always with us, if not you won’t sacrificed everything you had and gave it all to us.
I remember when you came back early from work, you’ll bring me around with your old Honda C70, I really missed that bike because at that moment I only can be with you together. You also sent me to school with that old bike early morning so I no need to walk to school.
When I fell sick, I knew you’ll comfort me before you went to work, you’ll touch my forehead to feel the heat. When I injured you’ll get a day off and sent me to see doctor. I can see how worry you were when anyone of us not feeling well.
You look very tough from outside, but your heart is very soft and kind, you never beaten up anyone of us even though we made mistakes, you only scolded us then will not talk to us until you calm down.
You like to read newspapers, every morning you’ll go buy newspaper together breakfast to us, in the evening you’ll buy night newspaper together with supper to us. You always make sure we never suffer of hunger, until now everytime I came back you sure will ask me ‘have you eaten’? I really touched and speechless when you asked me that.
I’m really hurt and sad to see why you still never have an easy life after you’d retired for more than 5 years. You still are looking around some part time jobs to support the family. You had given out all your saving just to ease my brother’s burden and you still never gave up with it.
Last year during Hari Raya, you purposely went to work, after work it was heavy rain and you met an accident on your bike, you never told me that until my younger brother told me about it. You don’t want me to worry about you but when I heard that news my heart was so hurt and I was crying the whole night. I was unable to come back home to visit you because I was the only non Malay officer in office on duty in Hari Raya holiday.
I really wish I can give you a better life now, I’m really shame on myself why I can’t do as you what did for the family? Now I’m understood how hard you’ve been gone through in your entire life. I’m trying very hard now not to upset you and I promise I’ll give you a better life soon.
You are really my Superhero… my Role Model… my best Dad in the world!
Happy Father’s Day to All Fathers in the World.
I Love You Dad!!!

Band Of The Week - Rainbow
I think most of you will be happy to see my band of the week again because it's going to weekend again! To me, I still have to work on Saturday, so nothing to shout about for me. Anyway, this weekend my pick goes to Rainbow. It's not the rainbow you see from sky, it's a classic rock band.
I guess many of you heard their songs before, let's start from Temple Of The King, I think this song is very famous on any slow rock album. Next will be a very beautiful song, Catch The Rainbow, I love it very much. Following the song title is my favorite quote, Long Live Rock N' Roll. Lastly another my favorite, Man On The Silver Mountain.

About Rainbow
Rainbow were former by former Deep Purple guitarist Richie Blackmore in 1975. This band were categorised as hard rock/heavy metal band in that era. Originally the band members consisted Ronnie James Dio (vocalist) was also a former Deep Purple vocalist, Mickey Lee Soule (keyboardist), Craig Gruber (bassist) and Gary Driscoll (drummer).
Over the years, Rainbow went through many lineup changes. The band split in 1984, Blackmore and Glover reformed the Deep Purple again as 'Mark II'. In 1993 Blackmore once again left Deep Purple and formed a new Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. Finally Blackmore turned his attention to Renaissance and medieval music, so Rainbow was put on hold again in 1997 till now.
To me, Rainbow is same as Deep Purple when Blackmore was around in either band. The only different now is Deep Purple still alive now without Blackmore. I really wish Rainbow will reform again in future and keep on rocking.
Rainbow... Long Live Rock N' Roll!!!

Parking Mafia
I always hate people simply park their car and block other cars to move out. This is not the new issue to me, I can always see it from my window.
If you want to double park your car, make sure you are just park for a very short time or you are just somewhere near your car, if not please leave a contact on your car so people can reach you. I can assure you that I can hear cars horning non stop to alert those cars blocked their way out everyday at the place I stay here. Sometimes the horn can up to more than 15 minutes long, this is very irritating to others.
I saw before got people lost their patience then broke the car's windscreen, so they only can released the car hand break and move the car away. I don't feel pity to the car owner because he deserved it, if I'm that person I'll do that too.
Back to some weekends ago, it was midnight and I heard someone horn non stop almost for an hour, that really spoiled my sleep on weekend night. The next day Sunday early morning, I heard it again and I was really angry that I can't have a good sleep on weekend. Then I looked down what was going on, that stupid car still parked there since Saturday night, that car really block the back lane access of the shop houses, all cars can't get through from that back lane.

Gift From Ogawa
Last week I went to one of Ogawa outlet to redeem my birthday gift. My Birthday was over more than a month and I just remembered I got a gift from Maybankard but have to redeem it at any Ogawa outlets.
After I redeemed a free gift from Ogawa, the sales person told me just put in a AA battery and it will works. I was wondering what is that until I came back home and I opened it then I saw this...

I was getting more curious, what the hell is this for? The white stick was placed inside the pillow, I took it out and see how it works.
The vibrator

The vibratorI was laughing non stop, why they gave me vibrator? I think it's more suitable for gal to..... hehehe... you know I know lah :P

The most amazing part is, it only needs a single AA size battery to run it. I wonder how strong is the vibrator with a single AA size battery only.

Then I found out... maybe the pillow is for guy and the vibrator is for gal, what a good combination hor? Kekeke...

From OgawaEh... What you all think about? Don't think so dirty lah, it's a massage pillow only lah... WAKAKAKAKA!!! The vibrator is put inside the pillow and you can massage your neck, arms, and back with it.
The vibrator consume very less power from the battery and the vibrating is so strong. I use it almost a week every night before I sleep to massage my back, the battery life still good now.
Thank You Maybankard & Ogawa!!!

Learning ABC in Easy Way
Note: The picture in this post was taken from my email, I found it quite funny and creative, so I just want to share with you all.
********************************************
I believe everyone of us start learning English in ABC with A for Apple, B for Boy, C for Cat and so on. That's only the basic way to learn a word, now how to learn ABC in a sentence easily? Maybe some of don't find it difficult, but to someone like me is quite difficult.
Now I found out a simple way to learn A to G in a sentence, not only that, it also got reverse G to A in a sentence too. The meaning of A to G is quite true in this real world, don't believe it? See below...

Down Again...
Well, I'm in a cybercafe opposite my house again. My internet connection at home down again for this whole weekend, I couldn't login at all.
After my previous post about Band Of The Week, the internet connection was down until now. I really pissed of with eB of their poor service. Today I went to try signup again with TM, I hope this time the place I stay got TM service now, I'm going to switch to Streamyx if TM available at my place.
Pray for me Please...

Band Of The Week - Cream
Sorry for late update, I'm very busy with my work recently and always come home very late. I really don't have much time to read other blogs. It's been a very extremely hectic week for me, this weekend I still need to back to office for work.
Alright, this weekend my band of the week goes to Cream. I guess most of you know cream that can eat, not the Cream classic rock band. If you don't know this band it's fine, but I'm sure you know who is Eric Clapton? Yeah... He was from that band before.
Now let's listen some of my favorite tune from Cream. First will be Crossroads, it's a nice song. Next will be Politician, I think I no need to explain more. Lastly is Badge, another great song from Cream.

About Cream
Cream were a British rock band formed in 1960s. The band consisted Eric Clapton (guitarist), Jack Bruce (bassist) and Ginger Baker (drummer). Cream were celebrated as one of the great power trio and supergroups of rock. Cream also characterised by a melange of blues, pop and psychedelia.
Cream broke up in November 1968 due to clashing egos and divergent visions. Clapton was forced to play the perpetual role of peacemaker for Bruce and Baker. Cream was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. Cream announced that they reunite for a series of four shows in 2004. However, the future of Cream still uncertain.
