Me As A Dad?!

Now I got this weird tag from Erinalaw, she wants to know how I'm gonna be a Dad. I'm still bachelor la, I still never think how I gonna be a dad, of cause I'll try my best to be a good dad in future (if can have my own family la).

Since I got The Ultimate Hamsap Award, I think will not be a problem for me to be a dad if got a wife hor? Wakakaka... Anyway, it's too early for me to say how I gonna be dad, for now I just can say I'll copycat my own dad, work hard to earn money and let the children have a good life, of cause never forget lessons to be a good man in future.

Dubai Jazz Fest & End of DSF

Yesterday night (24 Feb 2008) me and my colleagues went to Festival City for Dubai Jazz Fest, since the jazz concert is free from 21st to 27th Feb 2008, so we decided to go at least for one of the concerts before 28th Feb 2008 onwards need to buy entrance ticket.

So coincidence yesterday was the last day of Dubai Sale Festival (DSF), so before the show started, a huge fireworks has been display over the Festival City.

Two bands were performing last night, the 1st band lead by Lori Nuic, a powerful vocalist from Canada. Then followed by Ben Granfelt from Finland who really rocks the whole show instead of jazz, like what he said "Music is Music" and I was funning lots of fun with rock musics.

It was a great performance by these two different group musicians, we're planning to go for other groups again in this few days time if we got time.

6th Award & Crazy Moment

I felt like winning Grammy/Oscar Awards again, if really is now I become damn rich lor... Hahaha... This time this 'Nice Matters' Award was honored by ErinaLaw again. I was wondering what is nice matters? I'm so hamsap then so noisy because rocking all the time also can get this award meh?

Back To Work in Dubai

Today is my first day back to work after 2 weeks holiday for Chinese New Year in Malaysia. Thank you all for all the wishes given to me, I really miss you all.

It wasn't a perfect journey back to Dubai, ONLY myself can't enjoy the entertainment in the flight. The screen display in front of me was spitting away and I can't fully utilized the facilities, imagine 7 hours journey without any entertainment, furthermore I very hardly to sleep during the flight because of the seats are uncomfortable to me.

It was a nightmare to me, I never carried along my MP3 player so I can't listen to my favorite songs. I've told the crews on the plane, they even reset for me 3 times and the screen still splitting away, what a boring journey for me. I'll never forget my first flight experience with Emirates in my whole life!

Things are not so bad when I reached the villa I stay in Dubai, I saw my housemate/colleague brought over his guitar and gadgets together! Now I got company to jam with at home, so my rocking life is back again! Yeah... When I saw his gadgets, I really can't wait to try it out.

We both using different gadgets to get the sound effects, I'm using guitar tone port supported by software to get sound effects. My housemate is using real guitar gadgets and foot switch to get the sound effects. I like his guitar because it's a real Fender Stratocaster made in USA which I dream to have it for long long time.

Leaving Again

Well... I really no idea how to start this post, you should know how is my feeling now, I'm leaving Malaysia tonight and back to Dubai after almost 2 weeks holiday in my homeland.

This trip really very busy for myself, I just keep meeting up with friends, bloggers, ex-colleagues, ex-coursemate, ex-bosses, colleagues, bosses, family members... I felt myself like a GRO, running here and there, repeating to answer all questions about my work in Dubai.

Very sorry to those I haven't meet up, my time really too limited this time, really no time to seek a girlfriend lor if everytime like that... Hahaha.

Anyway, it was my most meaningful trip to come back for holiday, my 2 childhood friends are getting married soon, my best friends also register today in KL, I wish them all happy forever and all the best!

Now I'm looking forward on my next trip to come back to Malaysia, if everything go smooth I'll back again for holiday after 6 months from now. Maybe I'll back on time to join the "Together-Gather Bloggers Party II" which planned to held it in August 2008, so see you all in the TGG2 party yah!

Kek Lok Si Trip

Yesterday night (Saturday), I went to Kek Lok Si in Penang with my uncle and cousins for some photography hunting. This time I really tried out my Lumix DMC FZ18 to see how good it is. I'm very happy with the result which really better than what I expected with this compact digital camera.

I really tried out all the mode included the manual mode, the noise very low with the ISO100, some of the pictures above were snap without using tripod, the Optical Image Stabilizer really give me a great hand on photography.

It was a great outing for photography hunting after left out for so long. I'm in Kuala Lumpur now until this coming Tuesday night, I'll going back to Penang on Wednesday early morning.

The Wonderful of Kek Lok Si

In Hometown...

Hello everyone, I'm in my hometown Butterworth already, the feeling is so nice with my family members and my old best friends here. Thanks for all best wishes during my journey from Dubai to Malaysia.

Anyway, I felt I'm more like a stranger here now, this few nights I went out for some food hunting in my hometown, lots of changes here, many new places and new food stalls, but I don't even know anyone of them, all the hawkers also look at me like a stranger, the crowds too... I can't even see anyone I know here, am I getting old? Or am I really become a stranger here?

Last time when I came back for holiday, for sure I'll met up with someone I knew from my school life everywhere in Butterworth, now I hardly see anyone, where are they all gone?

I'll going down to Kuala Lumpur on 10th - 13th February 2008 to visit all my friends, ex-colleagues and colleagues. See you all in KL yah!

Lastly, let me here wish you all Happy Chinese New Year, may all of you this year have a better year, healthy life and richer year.

Short Update - Coming Back Home

Just a short update, I'm at Dubai International Airport now. I still have to wait for my flight and going to Doha (Qatar) International Airport for transit to KLIA.

What A Storm

Yesterday (Friday) Dubai was affected by heavy sand storm, I heard the local radio news said the whole UAE was affected by sand storm. It was my first experience to see such heavy sand storm after I've been working in Dubai for the past 6 months.

I was driving and I felt it was difficult to control the car if I drive fast. Imagine if I was not paying attention to control the car, I might hit with accident anytime.

I was planning to go out for some photo shooting to test out my new toy, too bad the storm spoiled my plan. Anyway, I managed to snap some the day before sand storm, but yesterday I planned to take some shots on the musical fountain at Festival City, too bad the storm really destroyed all out door activities.

Both pictures above was taken the day before the sand storm with my new Lumix DMC FZ18. I'm very happy with the OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) feature, I don't need too rely on tripod anymore.

I met up with Eve in Mall of Emirates on that night who dropped by in Dubai for a short trip, then I brought her and her friend together to Souk Madinat Jumeirah to see the night scene of Burj Arab.

So now I've shown you how good is my new toy, to me it's value for money. Anyway, I'll back to Malaysia for Chinese New Year tomorrow night and I'll reach KLIA on Monday afternoon, then I'll straight fly back to my hometown Penang.

Anyway, I'll go down to KL during Chinese New Year to meet up all my friends and my colleagues in KL.
