Eid Mubarak From Dubai

This is my 2nd time to celebrate Eid Al Fitr (Hari Raya Aidilfitri in Malaysia) in UAE. Usually in Middle East, Eid Al Fitr will be celebrated 1 day earlier than in Malaysia. Today (1 Oct 2008) is first day of Hari Raya in Malaysia, so yesterday (30 Sept 2008) UAE is celebrating Eid Al Fitr, this is the only time we all have public holiday.

Yesterday I found some time to go out for photo shooting with my new camera, I went out with my colleagues to Mall of Emirates and then having dinner in Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

1. Mall Of Emirates

Ski Dubai in Mall of Emirates

I didn't went into the Ski Dubai, I was just standing outside the glass snap some of the pictures.

After window shopping in Mall of Emirates, we decided to have dinner in Souk Madinat Jumeirah which is very near to Mall of Emirates.

2. Souk Madinat Jumeirah

I was zooming to the maximum from my Lumix DMC-FZ28 (486mm), and I'm quite satisfy with the 18x optical zoom lens of the camera.

I'm impressed with the Slow Sync/Red Eye flash function from my camera, now I can see my background cleary even I'm using flash light. Can you see any different of me? Yes... My white hair is back!!!

Let's look at what had been projected on the building...

Eid Mubarak (Selamat Hari Raya)

It's a greeting to all muslim, Eid Mubarak it's the same meaning of Selamat Hari Raya in Malaysia.

Selamat Hari Raya/Eid Mubarak...
To All Muslim.
