On Monday night was heavy rain in Dubai, the next day our construction site was flooded with rain water. Not only that, our site office also affected, the temporary site office never design for such heavy down pour, the result our site office was leaking and flooded.
It was my first time saw the rain in Dubai after few months, to me it only like normal rain in Malaysia, but I can see many roads were flooded by rain water.

Sandy place can't build drainage like in Malaysia, they do have but is under ground drain or it calls sub-soil drain

That was after leaking, so we covered with the plastic as the rain was going to be more heavier.
