Band Of The Week - Cheap Trick

I still felt today is only Tuesday after the Labour Day and Weesak Day holiday... LOL. Alright, this weekend my band of the week is Cheap Trick.

Cheap Trick in 70's

As usual, let's enjoy some of my selection from Cheap Trick. First will be The Flame, I guess most of you heard that song before, it's a famous commercial love song they ever had. Next will be my favorite tune Surrender, this song is rock and also featured in Guitar Heroes II video game. Following will be I Want You To Want Me, one of their famous tune too. My another favorite song is Ghost Town, this song really nice. Lastly my favorite rock tune That 70's Show, it's the theme song for That 70's Show series.

The band members are Rick Nielsen (guitarist and main songwriter), Bun E. Carlos (born Brad Carlson) (drums), Robin Zander (vocals and guitars), and Tom Petersson (bass guitar). I only know I Want You To Want Me and Surrender. Nevertheless, Cheap Trick is a great band. Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) loves that band, too.

5 neck guitar? How to manouvre it? Must be damn heavy.

[zen master]
Yeah, they are a great band! I tried to hold a double neck guitar before, it's quite heavy to me, 5 necks I dare not to imagine... haha

The first "fiver" weighed in at a hefty twenty eight pounds, and was clearly a burden to lug around the stage.

weighing a mere 22.5 pounds, the latest, yet un-nicknamed five neck was shipped off to Illinois for approval.
